You can set up a PIN for your login in order to lock Droppah so that employees aren't able to navigate away from the Clock In or Live tabs. This allows you to set up a device for employees to clock in and out of, without them accessing settings they shouldn't see.
Once you've set a PIN for your login, any time you sign into Droppah you'll be signed into locked mode by default.
While in locked mode, Droppah will also automatically sign back in if your browser has been closed or your device restarted, to ensure your employees can resume clocking in and out right away. To enable this automatic sign-in function, please ensure you've signed in via app.droppah.com.
Locking & Unlocking Droppah
To lock Droppah, simply tap the 'Lock' button at the bottom of the sidebar.
If this is your first time locking the app, you'll be prompted to set a 4-digit PIN, which will be used for locking and unlocking the app. Simply enter your preferred PIN, then confirm the same PIN again to set it.
Once the app is locked it will only be possible to switch between the Time Clocks or Live tabs and select a Team (if your user has access to multiple Teams).
You can unlock the app at any time by tapping the Unlock button at the bottom of the sidebar and confirming your PIN.
Each Admin and Team Manager will need to set up their own PIN if they need to lock the app. Each user should keep their PIN private, as sharing it with other users or employees may result in employees accessing areas of Droppah they shouldn't.
Enabling or Disabling Locking
If you no longer wish to use the lock function, you can delete your PIN and disable locking by turning off the 'Enable App Locking' toggle in the app menu in the top right.
To set a new PIN again at any time, simply re-enable the toggle then tap Lock in the sidebar to set your PIN.
Forgotten PIN
If you've forgotten your PIN, you can request an email reminder. To do so, tap the Unlock button then select Forgot PIN? in the pop-up that appears:
Click Send Email in the confirmation that appears and you'll receive an email confirming your current PIN.
