This guide walks you through the different levels of access available in Droppah. You’ll find a breakdown of who can (and can’t) do what, along with a summary of when to use each role. We’ve also included an overview of how each role accesses Droppah, so you’ll always know exactly how to get started.
The three levels of access in Droppah are:
Admin: Full, unrestricted access across Droppah, including all teams, settings, rosters, pay rates, and more.
Manager: Full access to Droppah to manage rosters and timesheets, but only for the teams they’re assigned to.
Employee: Access through the Droppah Employee Mobile App to view rosters, request cover, and request time off. Employees cannot view pay rates or edit shifts.
Which access level should I use?
Owner
The Owner is the account holder. They have the same access as an Admin, but they’re also responsible for the subscription. This includes billing, plan changes and transferring ownership if needed.
Admin
Admins have full access to Droppah. They can update account settings, build rosters for all teams, manage pay rates, approve time off, and set up the time clock on shared devices. If something needs doing, Admins have the access to get it done.
Team Manager
Team Managers look after their assigned teams. They can build rosters, set up the time clock, approve timesheets, and respond to time off and cover requests. By default, they don’t see pay rates or roster costs, but an Admin can enable this if needed. Managers keep things running smoothly day to day.
Employee
Employees use the Droppah Employee Mobile App to see their shifts, check who they’re working with, request time off, or swap shifts if allowed. They only see their own details, so it’s simple and easy to stay on top of work.
