Droppah can store your staff's clock-in and clock-out photos in the cloud for 30 days, so you can verify who started and stopped the clock from any device — not just the tablet or iPad on-site.
Cloud Storage Clock Photos Available 04/05/2026
Turning it on
Go to Settings in the sidebar and open the Company tab. Scroll to the bottom and you'll see the Store Clock Photos in the Cloud toggle.
Toggle it on. A confirmation popup will appear — read it carefully before proceeding.
Click Agree & Enable to activate cloud photo storage.
Only photos taken after you enable this setting will be stored in the cloud. Photos taken before enabling it are not retroactively saved.
Requirements
For photos to be saved to the cloud, your on-site device must be running the latest version of the Droppah Time Clock app. Make sure the app is up to date on every device your staff clock in from.
Viewing the photos
Once enabled, clock photos are accessible from any device during the 30-day retention period. You can review them at any time from the clock history to confirm who was on shift.
Privacy & consent
Before enabling this feature, you must make sure your staff have consented to having their clock-in and clock-out photos stored securely in the cloud for timesheet verification purposes.
By clicking Agree & Enable, you are confirming that:
You have obtained the necessary consent from your staff
Photos will be stored for 1 month and then automatically deleted
Turning it off
You can disable cloud photo storage at any time by returning to Settings → Company and toggling Store Clock Photos in the Cloud off.
Photos already stored in the cloud will remain until the 1-month retention period expires — they are not immediately deleted when you turn the setting off.
Frequently asked questions
Will old photos be stored in the cloud if I turn this on now? No. Only photos taken after you enable the setting are saved to the cloud. Previously captured photos are not retroactively uploaded.
What happens if my device isn't running the latest app version? If the Time Clock app is out of date, photos will still be captured during clock-in and clock-out, but they won't be saved to the cloud. Update the app to the latest version to enable cloud storage.
How long are photos stored? Photos are stored for 30 days and are then automatically deleted.
Can I still use the email photo option? Yes. The existing option to email photos to the employee at clock-out is unaffected by this setting. Cloud storage and the email option work independently of each other.
