Approving Time in Droppah

Updated yesterday

Timesheets act as a record of the hours your staff actually worked, including breaks, overtime and no-shows. It's important to review your timesheets before payroll to see how things line up against the roster and correct anything that looks off.

Timesheets are automatically created as your staff clock in and out each day using Droppah’s Time Clock. If you aren’t using the Droppah Time Clock, timesheets can be created manually by a team manager or an admin.

If you're using one of Droppah’s Payroll Integrations, you’ll be able to approve timesheets as part of the process. This means there is no need for manual entry into payroll and fewer chances for human error.

Who Can Approve Time

Only Admins and Team Managers can approve timesheets in Droppah.

  • Admins can approve timesheets for the whole crew.

  • Team Managers can only approve for the teams they're assigned to.

How to Approve Timesheets

The way you approve time will depend on which payroll system you’re connected to. The process looks slightly different in each, but the goal is the same: making sure your team’s time is ready to be paid correctly.

Not Using a Payroll Integration?

Droppah’s timesheet approval is only available when you’re integrated with payroll; however, you can always export timesheets. This gives you a flexible way to move hours into any payroll system, while holding on to a clear record of what was reviewed and confirmed.
