Downloading the App
You can download the Droppah app from the app stores by searching for 'Droppah', or follow the appropriate link:
Logging In
You can log in using your employee details. If you don't have a login yet, you'll just need to get in touch with your employer so they can create one for you first. If you've been invited, make sure you've accepted the invite, as seen here: Accepting a Droppah Invite
Rosters
The Roster tab shows the shifts you've been rostered on for, and the work you'll be doing.
Tapping on a shift will bring up more details, including the expected start and end time, as well as who else is rostered on for the same shift, and what work they'll be doing. If the shift is for the future, you may also have the option to Request Cover - learn more here: Swapping Shifts with Cover Requests
You can navigate between different weeks to check when you'll be working in advance, or view historical shift information by tapping the arrows on either side of the week selector at the top of the screen.
Tapping the selected week itself will bring up the calendar, where you can quickly navigate to a specific week.
If you work in multiple teams, but want to view shift information for a specific team only, tap on the filter icon at the top of the screen to filter the roster information. Open the 'Where?' drop-down, and select a specific team to filter accordingly, or switch back to 'All Teams' to display all rostered time again.
In addition to checking your own shift information, you can see who else you'll be working with during the week by selecting the filter icon at the top of the screen to filter the roster information. Open the 'Who?' drop-down, and choose 'Me, myself & I' to view your own roster, or 'The whole crew' to see everyone in your team(s).
If 'The whole crew' is selected, you'll see an ordered list of all shifts for your team for the week.
Availability
The Availability tab lets you see at a glance when you're working, when you're on leave, and when you're not available to work. Scroll up or down to change the month that displays.
Days will display in a different colour based on their status:
- Green - Days you're rostered on
- Grey - Days you've indicated you never want to work. If you'd like these changed, let your manager know.
- Orange - Days you've requested time off for, but have not yet received manager approval.
- Purple - Days that you've booked time off for. These may have been submitted by you, or manually loaded by a manager or admin.
You can also tap the purple + button to request time off, if you want to block out any extra days you're unavailable. Learn more about requesting time off here: Requesting Time Off
Notifications
The notifications tab shows all your current and historic notifications. Any new notifications will be displayed with a red dot icon.
Tapping on a notification will provide more information, depending on the type of notification:
- Roster Updated notifications let you know that your manager has published a new roster, or existing roster. Tapping these will take you to the roster view for the week the notification relates to.
- Cover Request notifications let you know about the status of your cover requests, or requests from your co-workers to cover their shifts. Tapping these notifications will open a pop up with information about the request. Learn more here: Swapping Shifts with Cover Requests
Managing Settings & Notifications
Tap on your initials in the top right of the screen to manage your settings.
You'll have options to manage your contact email address and phone number for your rosters. If email notifications are enabled, the email address specified here is where they'll be sent. Note that this doesn't affect the email address you log in with - see 'Access' below.
You can also choose whether to receive roster email notifications at the email address specified in the Profile tab. These emails will be sent when your manager publishes a roster, in addition to any push notifications received via the Droppah app.
Receiving push notifications via the Droppah mobile app will depend on your phone's notification settings. Please ensure you're consistently receiving push notifications before disabling email notifications.
Access
You can tap 'Access' to navigate to the My Profile page, which allows you to manage your login and contact details for all FlexiTime Workforce Management products that you have access to.
