Droppah's AI assistant helps you manage your roster on the go via SMS, so you can stay on top of changes as they happen without needing to sign in.
Please note that the AI assistant is currently available to NZ companies only.
Enabling the AI Assistant
To have the AI assistant enabled for your company, first reach out to support@droppah.com.
Once enabled, head to Manage > Access and specify the mobile number for any Admins or Team Managers who should be able to use the assistant. Click Save and then Close.
When you first add (or change) the mobile number for an Admin or Team Manager, they'll receive an email notification introducing them to the assistant. If they're on mobile they can click the Add Droppah to contacts button to quickly add the assistant to their contacts list, and start texting the assistant right away.
If you wish to turn off the AI assistant simply head to your company settings and disable the 'Enable SMS AI Assistant' setting seen here:
Using the AI Assistant
If you've received an email letting you know the AI assistant has been enabled for your mobile number, you can start firing texts through to your new best bud right away.
The email you were sent will contain both the number you can text to send your requests to the assistant and a button to add the assistant to your contacts.
What can the assistant do?
The assistant has access to your Work Groups, Teams, People, Shifts and published rosters. This means it can answer questions and make changes on your behalf, including:
- Answering questions about your published roster entries
- Publishing a roster
- Adjusting published roster entries
- Requesting cover if an employee can no longer make it
