Droppah integrates with Lightspeed, a fast and intuitive POS platform helping the world's best retail and hospitality businesses get even better.
Integrating with Lightspeed
To integrate with Lightspeed, go to Settings > Integrations. Select Lightspeed and press Connect.
A pop-up will open, prompting you to enter your Lightspeed login details - ensure you're an administrator in Lightspeed and enter your login details.
You'll then be prompted to select a company and authorise access for the integration.
Once connected you'll be returned to the Integrations page - if the integration is correctly synced you will see a purple light on the Integrations page for Lightspeed. You'll need to sync before any data will flow through to Droppah from Lightspeed.
Syncing with Lightspeed
Once you've integrated with Lightspeed you can click Sync on the Lightspeed integration at any time to sync your employees and Lightspeed Sites.
Alternatively, you can select Sync Lightspeed Employees from the People tab.
It's important to sync when you first integrate Droppah & Lightspeed.
It's also a good idea to sync before loading each roster, or if any of the following applies:
- You have new employees who have been added in Lightspeed and need to be created in Droppah
- You have new Sites in Lightspeed that need to be brought over to Droppah as Teams
When syncing Lightspeed, if you have any employees who haven't yet been synced to Droppah, you'll be given the option to tick Create Employees.
Whenever new employees join your company, it's best to set them up in Lightspeed first and then sync them to Droppah. When an employee is synced to Droppah, their Lightspeed Sites will also be synced to Droppah as Teams.
If you would prefer to manually link employees rather than relying on name matches, you can do so using the Lightspeed Employee dropdown on your people in Droppah:
What information syncs between Lightspeed and Droppah?
People
When you sync Droppah with Lightspeed with Create People ticked, we'll check whether any People in Lightspeed already exist in your Droppah account. If anyone is found with a matching email address (or matching name, if no email matches are found or multiple employees have the email), Droppah will automatically connect their records. If we don't find a match, we'll set them up for you.
Once connected, you'll be able to see the Lightspeed icon under People.
Lightspeed people will have the following details brought through from Lightspeed each time you sync:

Each time you sync your employees, any Lightspeed they belong to will be synced to your Droppah Teams, with the following details brought through:

Time Clocks
When an employee integrated with Lightspeed starts a shift in Lightspeed, a time clock will automatically start for them in Droppah.
While clocked in via Lightspeed, employees will appear in the Clock In and Live tabs, but will only be able to clock out or record breaks from Lightspeed.
Revenue
Once you've integrated with Lightspeed and synced your Site and People information through to Droppah, revenue from Lightspeed will flow through to Droppah in real time as orders come in.
If you have the Daily Summary enabled in the Calendar > Roster tab, the actual revenue from Lightspeed orders will show in place of the estimated revenue set for the Team that's selected. If All Teams is selected, the total revenue from all Lightspeed Sites will display.
Revenue from Lightspeed Sites will also show for their respective teams in Manage > Teams.
