The Work Groups tab allows you to view and create Work Groups. Droppah uses Work Groups as criteria in building your roster - these might be a specific role or task that will be assigned to your employees within a shift.
To make a new Work Group, go to Manage > Work Groups > New Work Group. You can then add details like the Work Group Name and assign a Work Group Colour to colour code the Work Group for quick role identification in your roster.
At this step you can also add employees to the Work Group, though you can add Work Groups separately to employees in the People tab.
Each employee needs at least one Work Group in order to be included in your rosters, and to use the Time Clock.
Under Additional Settings you can also manage how the Work Group should be treated when employees clock in and out:
Strict Start - When ticked, employees who are rostered with this Work Group will have their start time snapped to the rostered start time rather than their actual clock in time, if they clock in up to one hour earlier than expected.
Strict End - When ticked, employees who are rostered with this Work Group will have their end time snapped to the rostered end time rather than their actual clock out time, if they clock out later than the rostered end time.
