Droppah allows you to set up a schedule of public holidays so that you can see holidays at a glance in your roster and set up rules to accurately calculate your roster costs.
To view and manage your public holiday schedule, head to Settings > Public Holidays.
Companies in New Zealand or Australia will have a set of default public holidays available (see below), but you can always add or edit holidays to suit your needs. Simply click an existing holiday to edit it or click Add Public Holiday to create a new holiday. Then give the holiday a name, select the date and click Save.
If you no longer require a public holiday you can archive it using the options button in the top right:

To set up any additional costs that should apply to shifts and time that falls on public holidays, you'll need to set up overtime rules that are designed to kick in on Public Holidays. For example, the following overtime rule would apply time and a half to any hours falling on public holidays:

If the country for your account is set to Australia or New Zealand in your Company Settings, Droppah will automatically populate the coming year's public holidays for you. Additionally, if you've set your State/Territory (for AU) or Province (for NZ), any regional holidays will also be added.
If you have any additional observed holidays these can be added manually, or any default holidays can be archived if they aren't required.
