Paid Break Calculations - We're simplifying the way paid breaks are calculated in Droppah. Following this release, paid breaks will be calculated when an employee clocks out, rather than at the time of the break. This means companies with the Paid Breaks function enabled will see the following changes:
- Breaks will no longer be displayed as paid or unpaid to the employee while they're clocked in - they'll just see their total break duration.
- Breaks will be more accurately allocated as Paid Breaks regardless of the time at which they are taken - for example, breaks taken in the first 2 hours of a shift can now be considered paid (depending on your company's paid breaks rules).
- When the employee clocks out, Droppah will attempt to allocate the number of paid breaks the employee is entitled to based on the length of the shift and any other break rules in place.
-
Break Summary - When viewing a time entry via the Resources View or the Timesheet View, you'll be able to see a summary of any paid or unpaid breaks which were recorded via the time clock.
- Break Duration Renamed - The Break Duration field on rosters and time entries has been renamed to 'Unpaid Break Duration' for improved clarity.
Fixes
-
Clock Timeline Ordering - Fixed an issue causing some events on the clock timeline to appear in the wrong order if they occurred in the same minute, most commonly in cases where an employee had stopped a break and then immediately started it again.
- Firefox/Safari Issue - Fixed an issue preventing users from editing shifts in some versions of Firefox or Safari on devices without a touch screen.
